KNIT TOGETHER

Economist and lifelong knitter Loretta Napoleoni has a written a deeply personal yet thoughtful and engaging book about the power of knitting to change lives.

Through a series of essays, she explores how she has used knitting to cope with challenges in her own life; how knitting can be used to unravel and understand painful issues; the power of knitting networks; and knitting as an act of rebellion or revolution.

Loretta examines the neurological power of knitting, and its role in society and politics. She shares the stories of people she has met on her travels around the world, for whom knitting has contributed to both personal and societal healing.
