    A woman born to tell stories with the click of her camera, Shaira Luna exemplifies what it means to own and take pride in one’s narrative. The world first took notice of Luna when she was an eight-year-old child genius who read encyclopedias instead of fairytales. Growing up she was expected to live by the rules of her gifts and follow a story we all know by heart.

    Except, as her story unfolded, Luna dreamed about things beyond the norms of the academically inclined.
