Knit Together!
In association with the Keep Yarn on our Streets campaign
With the nights drawing in, knitting is coming into its element - I want nothing more of an evening than to wrap up in a woolly jumper and cover my lap with my latest knitting! With Christmas nearly here, it’s also a great time to think about charity knitting, using our skills to help others in need. This issue we’ve chatted to Mind, who run Crafternoon fundraisers, and the Naval Children’s Charity, who support the children of Naval familes - both very worthy causes. We also spoke to a wonderful knitting group at an arts and community centre in London. Elsewhere we’ve explored yarn shops in Yorkshire and Bath, and learned about the ethical yarns at Kettle Yarn Co.
Please do tell us about any shop, club or charity recommendations you may have, and remember to send in your community stories and charity knit pics. We can’t wait to hear from you!

WHAT IS THE ‘KEEP YARN ON OUR STREETS’ CAMPAIGN?
“It’s a campaign to bring together yarn shops across the UK. Yarn shops are such a great resource, with workshops, socials and more and we want to shout about it!” says founder Louisa Sheward.
