Only, that doesn’t apply to second-hand steals, because with the earliest hard-top Boxsters now trading at under £10k for a 3.4 S, they’re identical money to a leggy 996 Carrera. The Cayman will be quicker, more grown-up inside, and better balanced, thanks to its almost tediously laudable handling.
