Julie and Taylor Weule were enjoying a leisurely breakfast picking out baby names for their firstborn when Julie realised something wasn’t quite right.
At 24 weeks it was much too early to be experiencing labour pains and for her waters to be breaking. She knew she had to get to a hospital – and quickly.
“It was terrifying,” says Julie, 34, who spoke to Woman’s Day eight months after the traumatic events that led to her admission to a Sydney hospital, 100km away.
