The man who gave us the Lambretta ...

It is widely accepted that the success of the Lambretta in the UK was centred around the company known as Lambretta Concessionaires. Adopting . a strong sales and service strategy built up over a few short years, they made the Lambretta a household name throughout the nation. Without that success we probably wouldn't still be enjoying the pleasure of these humble Italian machines now. The driving force behind it was Peter Agg and though his father James and many others within the company helped him achieve that goal, it was Peter who was at the forefront.

The story began in the early 1950s and since that time history has dictated to us that the Aggs were the instigators of this huge empire, almost becoming folklore along the way. There have been rumours to suggest that several others may have been involved at the very beginning but there has never been any real evidence to clarify that.
