LETTER OF THE MONTH

VAN UPGRADE

Q Howdy, I have been looking at new vans with the thought of upgrading. We have a Jayco Westport and it really suits our needs due to the internal setup. Also its very light and easy to tow.

All the vans I have looked at have dual axles, which I like for carrying weight, and I have been looking at Simplicity Axles and their dual axle setup. Have you had anything to do with these? To my way of thinking they look extremely durable and work very well.

The other question is, can we approach a manufacturer to use this axle system?

I have only ever purchased two vans, both as they were, so any help would be appreciated.

Cheers, Geoff Hamence

A Geoff, Simplicity makes a number of suspension systems in tandem axle configuration. We ran a profile on the Company and their new load sharing coil
