Pigs in blankets
Chipolatas were made for this side dish.
MAKES 16 PREP 5 MINS COOK 30 MINS
✱ 16 rashers smoked streaky bacon
✱ 32 sage leaves
✱ 16 pork chipolatas (we like Powters)
1 Heat the oven to 200C/Gas 6. Working 1 rasher at a time, lay the bacon on a chopping board and run the side of a knife along the lengths to flatten and stretch them.
2 Put 2 sage leaves on top of each rasher, then roll each around a chipolata.
3 Put the pigs in blankets on a tray and roast for 20-30 mins.
Per serving: 150 cals, 11g fat (4g saturated), 1.5g carbohydrates
