TO MAKE WINDING sticks and a straight edge, I advise scratching through your wood stock to find some really attractive pieces for the builds. You can make them as fancy or plain as you wish. There’s something to be said about making attractive, practical and functionally accurate tools; seeing them in your workshop gives you a sense of accomplishment.
