s a Scrabble player, 2020 has been a bittersweet year for me. I was able to achieve the #1 ranking in North America for the first time earlier this year, but it came as a result of a tremendous loss in the Scrabble community: the passing of David Gibson, who was arguably the greatest American player ever and a true gentleman.
