‘Being out on the water feels so liberating’

 Rosie Brown, 64, lives in West Mersea, Essex. She is widowed with two sons.

I joined the Sea Rangers at 16 because I loved the thought of being out on the water. Later, my late-husband, Tony, introduced me to sea sailing and I quickly realised how liberating and exciting it was. I have my own dinghy and am a member of the local yacht and sailing clubs.
