SNL’s Strong Return

The episode, hosted by former cast member Chris Rock, drew 8.2 million viewers, the highest-rated premiere since 2016 (8.3 million) and second-highest since 2008 (10.2 million). The solid numbers continued for the Bill Burr–fronted October 10 show. With 6.9 million viewers, it’s the most watched non-premiere episode since last December.
