In a weekend characterised by constantly changing conditions, Rory Smith claimed the biggest win of his career in the 49th Formula Ford Festival.
The B-M Racing driver took his Medina JL18 from fourth to first in his heat, followed National champion Neil Maclennan home in his semifinal, then came from behind to beat last year’s winner Jonathan Browne in an entertaining final.
