ONE LAST FLING BEFORE THE RING
As the till drawer popped open, a man in uniform appeared beside me.
‘Are you new?’ I asked him, while handing the customer their change.
‘Yeah, it’s my first shift,’ he replied.
Jamie had the warmest smile, and at six foot tall, he towered over me.
