Berthed on a finger pontoon at Lymington Town Quay I was woken by a group of youths clambering over my decks at 0100.
Half asleep but buoyed by adrenaline I burst out of the saloon as they discussed what they could steal from the cockpit. Startled, they lost their collective nerve and knocked into me in their haste to get ashore. They talked about ‘coming back to get me’ and one threw a heavy object at my yacht.
