It has not taken long for the “what about Markus Jooste” questions to arise. As the Hawks and the National Prosecuting Authority pounced on allegedly dodgy individuals this week, there was an expected sigh of relief from a South African public whose impatience with the lack of action against those individuals or groups who were responsible for the filth of the wasted decade was wearing thin.
