The Suzuki SV650 has been around for a while. Twenty-one years to be exact. Thing is, it doesn’t feel a bit like an old bike.
Since its launch in 1999, the biggest visual change has been the development of the frame from an aluminium unit to a steel trellis one, and naturally the half fairing of the original S model is gone, too, replaced by the café racer-styled SV650X.
