Ali used fabrics from the
Primavera range designed by Rifle Paper Co for Cotton and Steel Fabrics, coupled with several Kona Cottons from Robert Kaufman Fabrics. The stock codes for these fabrics are shown in brackets.
• Fat eighth solid fabric #1 [Kona Canary (K001-26)]
• Fat eighth solid fabric #2 [Kona Peach (K001-1281)]
• Fat eighth print fabric #3 [Citrus Blossom — Orange Metallic (RP301-OR4M)]
• 60cm ( 3/4yd) print fabric #9 [Pineapple Stripe — Peach Metallic (RP302-PH3M)]
• 50cm ( 5/8yd) each of five assorted print fabrics (fabrics #4–#8) [Birch — Blush (RP304-BL3); Rosa — Cream (RP305-CR2); Stars — Blush (RP310-BL4M); Birch — Yellow (RP304-YE2); and Cabana Stripe — Yellow (RP309-YE3)]
• 2.2m (2 1/2yd) print fabric #10 [Stars — Cream Metallic (RP302-CR1M)]
• 2m (2 1/4yd) solid fabric #11 [Kona Snow (K001-1339)]
• 50cm ( 5/8yd) print fabric #12 [Cabana Stripe — Mint (RP309-MI1)] (binding)

• Batting at least 183cm (72in) square
• Four 1in brass eyelets and setting tool
• Yarn in different thickness and in colours to coordinate with the fabrics (tassels)
• Thick cardboard
• Rotary cutter, ruler and mat
• Sewing machine with 1/4in foot
• General sewing supplies

CUTTING
1 Cut a snippet off each of the 12 assorted print fabrics and use them to create a swatch card. Number the fabrics from 1 to 12 and refer to the card as you cut and piece your project.
