Can you tell us a little about your creative background?

I definitely have a couple of friends who would say I’ve always been crafty, but I’d say I’ve always been more crafty-adjacent. I wasn’t really encouraged into craftastic pursuits growing up, but, for the first few decades of my life, my creative endeavours were performance-based through speech and debate and theatre. As my journey of self discovery started to shed all the artifice, I decided that I no longer wanted to pretend anymore and just wanted to be me. From there I modelled for a while before stepping behind the camera as a photographer. When my daughter Helena was born, I decided to step into sewing and crafting as a way to connect with her, and never could’ve imagined that would become the catalyst for Mister Domestic.

Where did the name Mister Domestic come from?
