The show can go on

IT’S HARDLY THE sort of change that’s going to rock the gundog world, but I was interested to note that the Kennel Club has recently approved a change to the T-regulations for those dogs that have been awarded the Show Gundog Working Certificate (SGWC). The SGWC is similar to the Working Gundog Certificate (WGC) that I wrote about last week (See what they’re made of, 23 September) in that it is a practical test of a gundog’s ability to do what it was originally bred for.
