If you travel north from Perth on the Braemar road you will eventually find yourself coming into the still, somewhat sleepy town of Blairgowrie, described as the Gateway to the Highlands. Situated in Allan Street are the premises of James Crockart & Son, the gun and fishing tackle suppliers.
