The cost of ‘FREE’ SHOOTING

In 2020 it is fairly simple to discover the cost of a day’s shooting. Adverts both in the press and online from sporting agents show that a day of driven pheasants and partridges will cost the paying Gun somewhat in excess of £40 per bird, a price that usually includes refreshments and VAT.
