e bought Escapade in 2017 and have now sailed over 4,000 miles in her. We spotted her out of the water one afternoon and I was immediately attracted by her deep forefoot and sea-kindly hull shape. As I explained to my wife Rosie, a sailing widow of many years, such a boat would not slam in a headway as did our existing 35-footer but she would slice through the waves and have a much more comfortable motion underway.
