So far I’ve tried most types of photography, but I wanted to do something entirely different. I’d previously shot astrophotography images such as basic star trails and Milky Way shots. I’d even brought a little iOptron sky tracker camera mount, but then I wanted to go bigger.
I’d always loved the pictures from Hubble, and I knew that with better gear, I could gain far better results. I already had a Canon 80D, which I’d had astro-modified, and a Canon 300mm f/2.8L IS lens that I could use to start me off. But
