It also contains folic acid, calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorous, potassium, selenium and zinc, which all play an important role in pregnancy. It’s rich in fibre, which can help prevent constipation.

You can enjoy mangoes in a variety of ways.

MAKE YOUR OWN MANGO SMOOTHIE Put acup of mango chunks in a liquidiser. Cover with cold water. Puree and add a half cup of yoghurt and a little more water. (It should be a cup of water in total.) Mix until smooth and drink it cold.
