AS SUMMER COMES TO AN END AND THEY HEAD BACK TO SCHOOL PRINCE GEORGE AND PRINCESS CHARLOTTE THE ROYAL FAMILY’S BRIGHT YOUNG THINGS PROVE A CLASS ACT AS THEY BEGIN A BRAND NEW TERM
Ending their summer holiday on a high, Prince George and Princess Charlotte gathered at Balmoral for a longed-for reunion after lockdown with their “Gan-Gan” – their great-grandmother the Queen.
Together with Lady Louise Windsor and Viscount Severn, as well as the Princess Royal’s grandchildren Savannah and Isla Phillips and Mia and Lena Tindall, the young royals spent time with their families on the 50,000-acre estate in Scotland where Her Majesty and the Duke of Edinburgh are enjoying their traditional annual break.
As part of this big get-together – thought to be their first since coronavirus emerged – George, seven, and 12-year-old James watched the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, the Earl of Wessex and Isla and Savannah’s dad Peter Phillips take part in a grouse
