Why buy an OLED?

The pixels on OLED panels produce their own light, so when a pixel isn’t required it turns itself off, creating perfect black levels. As a result, bright whites also stand out, while contrast is outstanding; colour subtlety is great and so are viewing angles, with next to no luminosity off-axis. They’re also extremely slim, thanks to there being fewer layers of tech to squeeze into the frame.
