ABUL FAZL

Abul Fazl was the grand vizier of Emperor Akbar and his court historian. He was one of the nine ministers and great minds in the emperor’s court that became collectively known as the Navratnas, which means ‘nine jewels’. He was commissioned by Akbar to write the , also known as the ‘, the official chronicle of the emperor’s life and reign, as well as the , which documented the administration of the empire.
