Back in MC Hammer-time days, you probably could have hidden an AR pistol in your colorful parachute pants. The hipster skinny jeans — and perhaps the puffy waistlines — of today call for much slimmer carry pistols. But you’d rather not sacrifice handling, shootability, or magazine capacity in your carry gun. To address this need, Mossberg released the MC2c, their new polymer-framed, striker-fired compact 9mm pistol.
A little over a year ago, Mossberg launched the MC1sc subcompact pistol, after having gone many, many decades without a handgun in the lineup. In fact, the last Mossberg handgun was a rimfire that was put out to pasture way back in the 1930s. We reviewed the MC1sc last year in CONCEALMENT 14 and found it to be a solid offering, designed to be compatible with Glock 43 magazines.
