When you build a giant-scale airplane, you need to make many decisions: How many servos to use? Are the servo bays made specifically for a certain servo size? What type of engine should be used? Does the mounting pattern cater to a specific engine? All of these choices and more have an impact on how you’ll build your airplane. Often, people will purchase an airplane secondhand, and in doing so, either radio equipment and/or the engine might change.
