Clumsy Nellie

Following on from the 75th anniversary of the E27N, I thought you might like to see this one, photographed on a recent trip to Denmark. Found near the beach at Fjellerup on the east coast of Jutland. It was part of a display celebrating the local fisherman together with other fishing equipment that would have been used in post-war Denmark. A display board gave some details. In Denmark, the Fordson E27N Major was nicknamed Klodsmajor (Clumsy).

Alfred Jakobson was the first Fjellerup fisherman to buy a brand new Fordson tractor. He used it to drive the catch ashore and to transport the heavy nets
