The May 1945 Farm Implement & Machinery Review included a report of the initial tests on the Kendall-Beaumont three-wheeled tractor.

It was the latest ambitious project from Denis Kendall MP with his company Grantham Productions Ltd, Grantham. At the time they were also trying to bring to market the 565cc Kendall-Beaumont £100 car. Both vehicles were to be powered by a three-cylinder, air-cooled, radial engine.

Underpowered

As far as the tractor test was concerned, a 6hp three-cylinder radial engine was fitted. The tests included the drawing of a large three-section harrow,
