On the Clyde

Mention of HMS Tamar in Naval Review reminded me of a couple of photographs of her as she was on the move at her builders at Scotstoun in the River Clyde under tow on a rather grey and rainy 14 January. I grabbed a quick shot (above) on that miserable day while I was looking for a friend’s flat in Renfrew. She happened to be on the move at the same time.

Swedish flagged

I read that ships in the Tallink fleet have Estonian, Latvian and Finnish flags (SM, Jan). However, according to other information I have seen, Silja Symphony (Helsinki-Stockholm) and Galaxy (Turku-Stockholm) are all, in fact, Swedish-flagged.
