In today’s market most fruit traders are increasingly dependent on dedicated (full reefer) container ships, and only part of their required transport needs is being performed by conventional reefer ships. As a result of the IMO 2020 sulphur cap, it is expected many old and fuel-hungry conventional reefer ships will therefore be scrapped.
