I have had an affinity for the MGA Coupé ever since the late 1960s, when my sister and brother-in-law ran one as their daily transport. An MGB was to become my long-term MG, when I could get competitive insurance on reaching 21 in 1973, but I have very fond memories of that MGA which, in recent years, have surfaced more as an itch I need to scratch.
