Have you managed to get to the boat? Yes! It is a pleasure to be able to write these words from on board Minella. I’ve been looking forward to this weekend since last season closed in November. Turkey was one of the first countries to close its borders and airports and limit the movement of people to control the pandemic. Everyone under 20 and over 65 were confined to their homes for two months, but things are now starting to open up. We have a very strong healthcare system, which is free for everyone, and excellent medical staff so even though we’ve had a lot of cases, the death rate has been kept low
