When a farm in Suffolk chose to replace their ageing Claas Dominator 106 with a brand-new MF 38RS it was a decision that proved to be a wise one and the machine remained on the same farm for five years. In the summer of 1991, a Massey Ferguson 38RS combine was doing a demonstration tour around East Anglia, and in the middle of this it spent two days wheat harvesting on two farms in North Suffolk. The first of these farms saw it being put up against the resident Claas Dominator 106,
