    Q I’ve received an invitation from my surgery to have a flu vaccine, as I have mild asthma. I’ve never bothered with it before, but I’m wondering whether it will give me any protection against the Covid-19 virus, and whether I should have it. I’ve always been put off by people saying they get a sore arm or, worse still, the flu after they’ve had it.
