Here are professionals at work: Behind Bronson are the US-American electro duo Odesza and the Australian deep house/dance producer Golden Features. Together they have created a good album that moves between the strengths of the protagonists. Besides electro, dance and deep house, there is also a high percentage of pop, because although Bronson is suitable for the clubs, the focus is always on the song itself and there are also catchy hooklines. In terms of vocals there’s a good mix of strong performance and interesting effects. The eleven tracks are enhanced by guests such as Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich, R&B singer Gallant or Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs. Definitely a contender for the electro album of the year.
