Cape Marathon adopts the bio-bubble for a virtual race

The Sanlam Cape Town Marathon will apply the biologically safe environment concept when it hosts its virtual race in October.

The organisers confirmed this week that they would follow this model, which was first implemented in football when it resumed its programme in a bio-bubble in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic.
