Farewell to a true revolutionary

We gathered on an icy-cold Friday morning as the winds of ageless sorrows blew chills deep into our troubled, confused and aching hearts. In heavy clothing, we tried to resist the gusts, but the winds were harsh and penetrating.

Soon we realised that there was no defence strong enough to thwart the pain of death – especially when it is unanticipated, unprepared for and unbelievable. We realised there was no song, no words and no silence that could soothe the agony of this loss.
