NEW LEASE OF LIFE THROUGH RUN ALEX

Having taken up running at the age of 61, Chunkie Ntshangase never imagined that she would complete a 42km marathon at this stage in her life. Compelled by her desire to maintain a healthy lifestyle, the proud mother of one and grandmother to a 16-year-old joined the Run Alex club when it was initiated in 2018. Now aged 63, Ntshangase says she is still going strong.

The icing on the cake for the vibrant Ntshangase has been shedding 28kg, dropping from 84kg to 56kg, as a result of her newfound passion.
