Sew simple

Shibori is a Japanese technique used to create unique dyed patterns on fabric, and it’s super easy to try at home! Similar to tie-dye and just as fun, it’s done by folding, bunching and twisting fabric, ready to be dipped in dye. Here’s how to use pleats and pegs – and your trusty sewing machine – to transform a tired old chair into a shibori showstopper.
