Q My friend likes flamingos and her husband likes penguins. We joke all the time about a penguin on stilts being a flamingo. I’d love to surprise them with a cross stitch.

A Jenny: Thanks for writing in, Ashley. This has to be one of the funniest requests I’ve ever had! I hope your friends like their penguin on stilts – it will be a great surprise. The design uses mainly whole stitches with just a few fractionals so it should be quick and easy to stitch.
