SAYING THANK YOU

My mum passed away when I was 19 and since then her best friend, Dette, has become my second mum. She’s been there for me through so much, but I’ve never known how to thank her properly for everything she’s done.

But after watching me stitch some Wrendale Designs and saying that hedgehogs were her favourite animal, I stitched Wrendale Designs’ ‘Awakening’ for her for Christmas. I got it framed professionally with invisible glass, so that wherever Dette hangs it, she’ll be able to see it without any glare. It still doesn’t cover all the love and support Dette has given me over the years, but it’s a start.
