You feed thousands of house dust mites every day
A human body gives off 0.5 to 1g of skin scales a day – enough to feed thousands of house dust mites for a year. The mites don’t need to drink – they can absorb moisture through their skin, so they thrive particularly in homes with higher air moisture levels of 55 to 75%… and of course in homes which are less regularly vacuumed and otherwise cleaned.
WHAT TO DO?
Wash your bed linen in 60°C water at least once every two weeks.
Let fresh air into your home 3 times/day for 5-10 minutes.
