TITANS

CAPTAIN Kevin Proctor says the Gold Coast need to forget about the struggles of last year and develop a better attitude in 2020.

Following a wooden spoon season, Proctor is desperate to see improvement within his Titans and he’s already noticed a handful of changes. Although a ball has yet to be kicked this season, Proctor says the players are more confident than ever and they made some positive improvements in the trials.

“I noticed a lot of changes throughout the trials. We found ourselves down by a few tries [against Brisbane] and the old Titans would have just given up, but we fought back,” Proctor told Big League.

“We need to move on from last season. We weren’t happy with how we went but we’re already showing signs of improvement.”

The Titans open their campaign with a road trip to Canberra to take on last year’s runners-up.

“We’re up for the challenge. We know it’s going to be tough, but that’s what you want. It will show where we’re at and what we need to improve on.” – MICHAEL BLOK
