■ Assorted dark blue prints – 1yd in total

■ Assorted blue prints – 1½yds in total

■ Assorted red prints – 2yds in total

■ Assorted white/cream prints – 1yd in total

■ Aqua dotty background fabric – 3¾yds

■ Batting – 81in square

■ Backing fabric – 4½yds

■ Binding fabric – ⅝yd

■ Templates – 10 paper copies of FPP templates A; 20 paper copies of FPP templates B, C and D; 16 paper copies of FPP templates E and F (see Templates section)

Finished size

■ 76in x 77in

Notes

■ FPP = foundation paper piecing.

■ WOF = width of fabric.

■ RST = right sides together.

■ WST = wrong sides together.

Cutting out

1 From the aqua background fabric, cut a piece measuring 76½in x WOF. Subcut the following strips down the length of the fabric:

■ Four (4) 2½in x 76½in and two (2) 3½in x 76½in strips for sashing.

■ Two (2) 3in x 76½in
