Cabin Fever
The African Fabric Shop, working with Janice Gunner, has created a fun little kit made using a variation on the classic Log Cabin block. ‘Courthouse Steps with Attitude – 5 Blocks’ works perfectly with the multi-coloured and indigo Shweshwe fabrics that owner Magie Relph has used in her sample quilt shown here. Measuring 20in x 50in, this would be ideal as a table runner or a small wall hanging. Janice has designed the pattern so that it’s easy to follow, making this a perfect project for new quilters looking to ease their way into quilt making before tackling a full size quilt.
