YOU WILL NEED

■ A loose-fitting top or shirt for measuring

■ Main fabric: 1.3mx140cm (1½ydx55in)

■ Narrow satin or cotton bias tape: approx. 60cm (24in)

■ Matching thread

■ Basic sewing kit

NOTES

■ Seam allowance is 1cm (3/8in) unless otherwise stated

■ You will need more fabric if you wish to make the blouse longer or larger than UK size 16

■ We traced our pattern straight onto the fabric but you may find it more economical to draft the pattern onto paper first and then purchase fabric depending on the width and length of your pieces

RECOMMENDED FABRICS

■ Viscose or crepe viscose.
